The NCC provides advice and guidance on a continuing basis as requested by the Secretary of Energy on the general policy matters relating to coal.

In consideration of concerns associated with the COVID-19 virus, the National Coal Council has cancelled its 2020 Spring Annual Meeting (April 23-24, Bethesda, Maryland). We are reevaluating the feasibility of rescheduling later this spring and will post details here should a new Spring Annual Meeting be scheduled. NCC Chair’s Leadership Council

The NCC Chair’s Leadership Council (CLC), organized through NCC, Inc., is comprised of committed, knowledgeable individuals who serve in a management advisory capacity to the Council. The NCC leadership relies on CLC members for guidance and insights into opportunities for NCC to strengthen its programs, improve its management, and evaluate its mission and services.
